The location of this resort is simply breathtaking - situated right beside the serene lake, it offers a peaceful and quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The house itself boasts fantastic facilities, including a sauna, and the modern decor adds a touch of luxury. The view of the lake is truly stunning, and the remote village setting offers a unique experience. The highlight of the cottage is undoubtedly the jacuzzi and steam room, while the walk through the village road leading up to the hill is a delightful experience. The balcony is a fantastic addition, perfect for enjoying the wonderful views and soaking up the sunshine. The patio doors allow for great weather watching. this warm and cozy place exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it for a memorable family getaway.

The hotel's decoration was charming and brought a sense of warmth and coziness to the surroundings. From the beautiful artwork on the walls to the comfortable seating areas, every corner exuded a sense of homeliness. It was a pleasure to relax in such a well-maintained environment.
For a better vacation for senior people, I would have appreciated additional seating options in the lobby or common areas. Sometimes, after a long day of exploring the scenic loch and surrounding areas, it would have been nice to have more places to sit and take a break.

The kitchen had every gadget and equipment we could possibly need. The beds were super comfy and everything was impeccably clean. And let me tell you, the surrounding countryside was absolutely stunning! It was so peaceful and perfect for fishing, walking, and just relaxing by the beautiful Loch Melfort.
Only one small thing that could make the breakfast selection better.

The house was very spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking during the Christmas holidays. The views of both the harbour and the loch were absolutely stunning. It was also great to have a staffed office on site, as any issues with hot water were fixed promptly. Additionally, having parking right outside the door was very convenient.
The location of the hotel was quite a distance from any shops, so it's best to stock up on supplies before arriving. Also, the Wi-Fi was intermittent, but considering the peaceful and off-the-beaten-track location, it was not a major issue.

Best aspects of our stay were the stunning scenery and luxurious accommodation. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, with a cozy log fire, relaxing sauna, and spa bath. The fully equipped kitchen was a plus, and the kids loved playing the games and watching DVDs that were provided. The friendly reception staff made us feel very welcome and were always helpful. it was the perfect place to escape and unwind.
The unreliable internet connection and the misleading description of the beach. The Wi-Fi was practically unusable and there was no 3/4G signal in the area either.
